Acton home sales top out at $1.5 million as trust transfers make up nearly half of August deed activity
Twenty property transfers were recorded in Acton between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, with 12 disclosing a sale price ranging from $206,000 to $1,515,000 and a median of $901,500. The top sale was 39 Adams St. at $1,515,000, sold Aug. 20 by David M. Crawley to Muhammad Mahmod Hanif and Nabiha Mahmood. Eight of the 20 recorded deeds were trust or estate transfers within the same family, with no price disclosed. Among disclosed sales, nine of 12 priced above $1 million, indicating higher-value properties made up most of the openly priced activity this period.
