NARA Kids Concert Postponed, Makeup Date Coming Later This Season
A planned Kids Concert Night at NARA Park featuring Ben Rudnick & Friends has been postponed, town officials announced, while the Acton Public Library moved ahead with a packed week of summer programming for all ages.

The Town of Acton's News Flash confirmed that Kids Concert Night at NARA, which was to feature Ben Rudnick & Friends, has been postponed. A makeup date will be scheduled later this season, according to the announcement. No reason for the postponement was given in the town's notice.

The Acton Public Library has a full slate of programming in the coming days. Adult offerings include Tech Time with Brian, a one-on-one technology help session, and Meet-up Mondays, a drop-in social and games gathering, both set for Monday, July 20. A Craft Night featuring Cricut-designed trucker hats runs in two sessions on Tuesday, July 21, and the Mystery Book Club meets Wednesday, July 22, to discuss "Eight Perfect Murders" by Peter Swanson.
Younger patrons have options too: the free Lunch Bunch food program continues Tuesdays and Wednesdays through July 29 for children and teens ages 2-18, funded through a local public health nursing board with meals donated by area restaurants. Teens can join a Dungeons and Dragons summer club Wednesday afternoons, and an all-ages Hamilton Karaoke night celebrating America's 250th anniversary is planned for Wednesday, July 22, on the library patio. For younger children, Sing & Stomp returns Friday, July 17, along with weekly Grab & Go craft kits, and Pokémon Club meets Saturday, July 18, for kids ages 6-11.
