The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Acton Police Department's official public log for the period August 21–28, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Friday, August 21 — Motor vehicle citations were issued at multiple locations along Great Road and Main Street during enforcement activity throughout the day and evening.
Saturday, August 22, 1:02 p.m. — Missing Person: A missing person report was filed at the 200 block of Great Road.
Saturday, August 22, 1:45 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries: A crash with injuries was reported on Route 2 westbound; the injured party was transported.
Saturday, August 22, 1:50 p.m. — Abandoned Motor Vehicle: An abandoned motor vehicle was located on Lawsbrook Road; the situation was resolved.
Sunday, August 23, 12:54–1:28 a.m. — Burglar Alarms: Two burglar alarms at the same address on River Street were investigated and found unfounded.
Sunday, August 23, 10:42 a.m. — Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at the 200 block of Elm Street; an officer spoke with parties on scene.
Sunday, August 23, 11:34 a.m. — Noise Complaint: A noise complaint was filed at the 200 block of Elm Street.
Sunday, August 23, 6:51 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported near the 50 block of Great Road.
Monday, August 24, 12:35 a.m. — Burglar Alarm: A burglar alarm at the same River Street address as two prior-night alarms was investigated and found unfounded.
Monday, August 24, 6:23–6:51 a.m. — Wires Down: Two wires-down calls on Brook Street were responded to.
Monday, August 24, 7:18 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Main Street.
Monday, August 24, 8:02 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Citation: A citation was issued on Massachusetts Avenue during a motor vehicle stop.
Monday, August 24, 11:33 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Devon Drive.
Monday, August 24, 6:03 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Main Street.
Monday, August 24, 8:22 p.m. — Disturbance: A disturbance was reported on Central Street; an officer spoke with parties on scene.
Tuesday, August 25, 6:43 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash on Concord Road resulted in a vehicle being towed.
Tuesday, August 25, 1:33 p.m. — Larceny/Forgery/Fraud: A larceny, forgery, or fraud report was filed at the 1100 block of Massachusetts Avenue.
Tuesday, August 25, 1:46 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Townsend Road.
Tuesday, August 25, 2:38 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A motor vehicle theft was reported at the 100 block of Ledge Rock Way.
Tuesday, August 25, 4:38 p.m. — Trespass Notice: A trespass notice was issued at the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue.
Tuesday, August 25, 5:32 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Great Road.
Tuesday, August 25, 9:37 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Arlington Street; one person was arrested in connection with the incident. John S. Donovan, 21, of Boxborough, was charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor or .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to drive in the right lane.
Wednesday, August 26, 12:42 a.m. — Disturbance: A disturbance on Great Road was resolved by responding officers.
Wednesday, August 26, 11:26 a.m. — Scam Report: A scam was reported at the Quail Ridge Drive area; an officer spoke with the reporting party.
Wednesday, August 26, 1:05 p.m. — Landlord-Tenant Dispute: A landlord-tenant dispute was reported on Parker Street.
Wednesday, August 26, 1:31 p.m. — Hold-Up Alarm: A hold-up alarm at the 4800 block of Powdermill Road was investigated and found unfounded.
Wednesday, August 26, 6:07 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries: A crash with injuries was reported at the 100 block of Nagog Park Drive; fire units responded.
Thursday, August 27, 6:35 a.m. — Animal Issue: An animal issue was reported on Kinsley Road.
Thursday, August 27, 2:21 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident, Property Damage: A property-damage crash was reported on Main Street.
Thursday, August 27, 2:32 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries: A crash with injuries was reported at the 70 block of Great Road; a citation was issued.
Thursday, August 27, 12:09 p.m. — Animal Welfare Check: Dogs were reported in a motor vehicle at the 2000 block of Main Street; the matter was resolved.
Thursday, August 27, 5:38 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries: A crash with injuries was reported at Great Road and Harris Street; the injured party was transported.
